Wood protection: The benefits of Oxy-oil
In recent years, oil treatment of wooden floors and furniture has intensified both in private homes as well as in public and commercial buildings. Oxy-oil serves as a fitting solution to bring wood protection to the next level.

When applied on the wood, it penetrates deep into the grains of the wood, dries within a few minutes and creates a natural look and feel. This gives the wood a natural accentuation and creates a breathable and matt surface. The thin layer which does not form a continuous film allows the wood pores to remain clearly visible making the furniture and flooring appear more vivid as the Oxy-oil particularly emphasizes the wood structure. Apart from the optic effect, Oxy-oiled flooring and furniture can also absorb and release humidity unimpededly. The breathability of wood helps reduce bad odor from the wood substrate in wood flooring and antique furniture.
To enhance the beauty of the wood while preserving it, Oxy-oil can also be tinted with different colours before being applied to the wood substrates. It offers a wide range of compatibility to carpenters and the wood-working industry in general.
Future outlook for Oxy-oil
Scarcity of wood resources has reached critical level over the last decade, thus, wood or wood based products must be sustainable and longer lasting. Concern for the environment has changed the industry view on the use of preservative chemicals, especially in the manufacturing process for residential construction, such as wooden furniture, decking and flooring.
