北京2022年冬奥会开幕倒计时100天主题活动10月26日举行，冬奥会奖牌正式发布（戳这里回顾）。此前，奥运火种在希腊古奥林匹亚点燃后运送至中国。奖牌样式的发布标志着北京2022年冬奥会进入最后的筹备阶段。

Beijing celebrated the 100-day countdown to the 2022 Olympic Winter Games on Oct 26 with the unveiling of the medals for the Games. After the Olympic flame arrived in China after it was lit in Ancient Olympia, Greece, the unveiling of the medals design is another milestone as preparations for Beijing 2022 move into their final stages.

据《北京日报》报道，10月起，越来越多的城市开始提供新冠疫苗加强针，以增强应对病毒的免疫力。国家卫健委表示，加强免疫接种目前优先在感染高风险人群和保障社会基本运行的关键岗位人员中开展，全程接种满6个月的18岁及以上人群，可进行一剂次加强免疫。

Starting in October, an increasing number of cities in China began offering COVID-19 booster shots to strengthen people’s immunity to the virus, Beijing Daily reported. According to the National Health Commission, the focus at present is to give booster doses to people at higher risk of contracting the virus and key workers in the public sector. The third vaccine dose will also be made available to people aged over 18 who have already had the two-shot vaccination for at least six months.

疫苗加强针 (booster shot/dose/jab)，指在完成疫苗接种后根据抗体消退的情况进行补充接种，保持人体对病毒免疫力的疫苗剂次。Booster动词形式为boost，表示“加强”，这里指“增强疫苗产生的效果”。

10月26日，首列“上海号”中欧班列抵达德国北部城市汉堡。首发“上海号”列车装着50个满载服装鞋帽、玻璃器皿、汽车配件、精密仪器等货物的集装箱，沿途路线超过1万公里。今年是上海和汉堡建立友城关系35周年，“上海号”中欧班列的开通给双方合作增加了新平台，汉堡作为“一带一路”重要节点的作用得到进一步加强。

The first China-Europe freight train from Shanghai was greeted in the German port city of Hamburg on Tuesday. From garment to glassware, solar panels, auto parts and precision instruments, the train dubbed the "Shanghai Express" carried 50 containers of goods and traveled more than 10,000 kilometers. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the signing of a partner city agreement between Hamburg and Shanghai, the launch of the "Shanghai Express" has raised the two cities' cooperation to a new level. Hamburg's role as an important node in the "Belt and Road" network has been further strengthened.
