莫瑞尔拒绝了这名美国医生，离开了这家医院。此后，她又辗转了数家医院，其结果都是要“切除乳房”。莫瑞尔非常失望，又开始试验了许多保守疗法，包括吃中草药，但病情却在一步步地恶化。
Morel rejected the American doctor’s advice, left the hospital. Since then, she was removed to a number of hospitals; the results were all to be "resection of breast".
