4.3” Full Flat colour video touch screen
Besides serving as supervisor for the By-me home automation system, the video touch screen is used as an internal unit of the Due Fili Plus range that can be integrated with all components of the video door entry system (entrance panels, call buttons, power supplies, etc.) and is able to control home automation functions simultaneously with those of the video door entry system, namely viewing and speaking with the caller at the door or gate, releasing the electric lock, switching on the stair lights, making intercom calls, baby watching, etc.; when used as a video door entry, the device is configured directly from the video touch screen, following standard Due Fili Plus procedures. THE screen will also allow the supervision of analogue cameras connected to the circuit of the video door entry system.
Monitoring and control functions (screens, icons, etc.) are configured using the EasyTool Professional LT software application, plugging interface 01991 into the dedicated connector on the device.

Configuration
The touch screen is configured using the EasyTool Professional LT application and programming interface 01991; the functions (groups, scenarios, etc.) to be controlled by the device are selected from the database downloaded by the By-me control unit used for initial configuration of the system. If the system was configured initially with EasyTool Professional, the database will already have been saved by the software and can therefore be imported directly to the video touch screen.

Flush mounting 3.5" video door entry designed for stand-alone operation within the Due Fili Plus video door entry system, com- municating directly with the entrance panel.

Operation
With Due Fili Plus, it becomes possible to create systems in which the identification of devices and controls is implemented digitally. Depending on the settings, control operations typical of a video door entry system such as making a call, releasing the electric door lock and switching on stair and hall lights, etc., are all coded. The most important advantage offered by Due Fili Plus is that the entire system can be wired using a twisted pair cable — i.e. just 2 non-polarized conductors — carrying data, audio-video signal and the necessary power to the connected devices.
The system also allows internal calls to be made between video door entrys, between audio entry phones and between video and audio entry phones.

Colour monitor
The LCD monitor has a built-in microphone and speaker, 4 buttons for video door entry or video surveillance functions, 6 buttons for exploring, selecting and setting functions presented by the home automation menus, a warning LED, and a video colour adjustment trimmer. The rear of the device presents two connectors for:
• video door entry module 01963 or CCTV module 01964 in the top compartment;
• Control unit module 01960 in the bottom compartment.
The LCD monitor is designed both for surface mounting with an 8-module (4+4) back box V71318 or V71718, and for table/ desktop use, mounted to an angled base 20788 (Eikon) or 14788 (Plana).
Integration with CCTV system
The device with video door entry module 01964 can be integrated into a CCTV system as follows:
• basic (view-only functionality with module 01964):
- view single camera feed or DVR recording;
- cyclic selection of cameras using the "lock" button;
- facility of using any given PAL analogue video source (cameras, DVRs, IP cameras with PAL BNC output);
• advanced (view and control functionality with module 01963):
- integration with all video door entry monitors by way of Due Fili Plus Bus and video selector 69AM. The video selector, managed by the Due Fili Plus system as if it were an entrance panel (same topology), is installed together with a video concentrator 69MX. The selector 69AM is assigned an ID by way of the "SaveProg" software tool;
- cyclic selection of cameras using the "lock" button;
- utilization of the same Bus as the video door entry system;
- 4 cameras per module, expandable to a maximum 240 cameras in total;
- additional facility of integrating a DVR with BNC analogue output;
- programming of cyclical self-start function on monitors.

01963 - Due Fili Plus video door entry module Integrated with a colour monitor 21550, 20550 or 14550, this module can be turned into a flush mounting hands-free video door entry. The video door entry module is essentially an audio- video interface enabling the interaction of voice and images; the device is provided with inputs and outputs that allow connection of the video door entry with other devices in the system (power supply, stair lights, electrical locks, etc.).
Due Fili Plus video door entry products can be used to create systems in which the identification of devices and controls is implemented digitally. Control operations typical of a video door entry system — such as making a call, releasing the electric door lock and switching on stair and hall lights, etc. — are coded according to the particular configuration. Hands-free audio entry phone for Due Fili Plus call system The hands-free audio entry phone, for installation exclusively with digital Due Fili Plus systems, allows communication with the external unit (Due Fili Plus entrance panel or landing call button 20577, 19577, 14577).
The device has three keys on the front, used for hands-free communication, auxiliary and lock release functions, also two trimmers for adjusting speaker and ring tone volume levels, and a button for selecting the ID code of the unit.
Accessible on the back (terminals side) are: Bus line selection jumper, expansion connector for intercom call buttons, connector for programming parameters from a computer, using interface 692I/U and "SaveProg" software tool.

Operation
• When a call is made from an external unit (entrance panel or landing call button) the entry phone activates the ring tone; to answer and communicate with the caller, button “A” is pressed and then held for the entire duration of the conversation.
• The auxiliary function can be used to operate an external service, such as stair lights or other loads, which are activated by sending the relative digital control signal. The function is activated by pressing button “B".
• The 'open' function allows the user to release the electric lock of the door or gate — wired directly to the entrance panel — by sending the "Lock" control signal. The function is activated by pressing button “C".
• The audio entry phone can be set up to make and receive voice intercom calls. To make intercom calls, one or more buttons with NO contacts (e.g. 20008, 19008, 14008 or 20066, 19066, 14066) must be wired using the connection cable supplied with the product, and the entry phone configured so that is enabled to make/receive calls to/from other entry phones. A maximum 3 buttons type 20066, 19066 or 14066 can be connected for 6 calls, or 3 buttons type 20008, 19008 or 14008 for 3 calls. There is also the additional or alternative option of programming buttons “B” and “C” to give 2 intercom calls (instead of stair lights and lock release).
• The functionality of buttons “B” and “C” (i.e. the digital control signal sent over the Bus) is programmable from a personal computer using interface 692I/U and the "SaveProg" software tool.

Due Fili Plus landing call button
The device, for installation exclusively with digital Due Fili Plus systems, allows a visitor to call and communicate with the internal unit (hands-free audio entry phone 20557, 19557, 14557 or monitor 21550, 20550, 14550 complete with Due Fili Plus video door entry module 01963 and with other internal units of the Due Fili Plus series such as the video door entry 19558 or video touch screen 21553.1, 21554).
The device comes complete with a button and illuminated nameplate on the front, whilst the rear affords access to two trimmers for adjusting speaker volume and microphone sensitivity, also to the BUS line selection jumper, the jumper for configuring the type of call, the connector for programming configuration parameters from a computer, and the button for coding the device.

Operation
The call is made by pressing the button against the name; the user of the internal unit can then choose or decline to enable conversation. For best audio results, the caller should stand and speak at a distance no greater than 40 cm from the device. The Due Fili Plus landing call button can be used to open a door lock by means of an external 12 Vdc relay, connected to terminals ‘+12’ and ‘S’. Speaker volume and microphone sensitivity are adjusted by means of trimmers located on the back of the device.
The landing call button in a video door entry system can be used in conjunction with a video camera 20560, 14560 or 20565,14565 and illuminator 20570, 14570; connection of the
cameras will require the installation of audio-video interface 69AM, which allows the video signal to be sent to the internal video door entry unit when a call is made from the landing.

General
The By-me system allows integration with products of the Elvox CCTV range. This means that automation systems can be created, for residential properties and business premises, in which the supervisors are also used to control CCTV functions. Access to the functions is granted on two levels:
• basic mode, used only for viewing live images captured by IP video cameras;
• advanced mode, for controlling the DVR/NVR (viewing live feeds and recordings) and positioning PTZ cameras.
The flush mounting control unit (21509) manages the By-me home automation system with automation and burglar alarm functions; where integration with the video surveillance system is required, supervisors and TV cameras are needed to make up a complete system.
CCTV systems can incorporate the 10" IP multimedia video touch screen (21553.1), the 4.3" video touch screen (21554), the flush mounting video door entry 19558 or a flush mounting monitor 21550/20550/14550 equipped with CCTV module 01964.
This is an important advantage in the case of renovations, or where buildings have already been prepared to accommodate system upgrades or expansions.
By-me Supervisors
The 10" IP multimedia video touch screen (21553.1) is the device with which CCTV functions can be integrated to best advantage.
The "Cameras" application provides the following basic functions:
- view live feed from one single TV camera at a time (analogue, Due Fili Plus or IP);
Connecting with Elvox DVR/NVRs over a LAN network and using "DVR Controller" (compatible with DVR/NVRs: 46840.D04, 46840.D08, 46840.D16, 46840.W04, 46840.W08, 46840.W16,
46640.W04, 46640.W08, 46640.W16, 46640.W32, 46340.F04,
46340.F08, 46340.F16, 46241.F08, 46241.F16) integrated with
the Vimar interface of the 10" multimedia video touch screen, other advanced functions are made available:
- view live feed from cameras (up to 4 simultaneously);
- remote control of PTZ camera (pan-tilt-zoom);
- playback of recordings;
- screenshot capture;
- multiserver;
- configuration of connection parameters from the multimedia video touch screen interface.
The 4,3" colour video touch screen (21554) displays images received from analogue video cameras of the Due Fili Plus system.
With a Web server (01945) installed in the home automation system, the live feed from IP cameras of the CCTV system can be viewed remotely (on a PC, tablet or smartphone).
The computer used to view images from the cameras must have an internet browser installed (Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 or higher, Firefox 6 or higher, Safari 5.1 or higher, Google Chrome 14 or higher); in the case of mobile devices (iOS, Android), these must be running the By-web application, which can be downloaded free from Apple Store and Play Store.

Basic elements
The system and the applications available can be set up to provide functions concerned with video monitoring for different areas of the home (rooms and garden, baby-watching), and video surveillance of business premises (shop windows, in-store displays of merchandise, etc.).
CCTV functions can be classified as basic and advanced:
- in the case of basic functions, images captured by the camera can be viewed only in real time;
- with advanced functions there is also the facility of recording images and using video analysis as the basis for other actions. Basic functions need only By-me supervisors and cameras, whereas advanced functions require the addition of recording
devices: DVR or NVR, depending on the technology selected.
System architecture
The CCTV system can be created using analogue or IP video cameras. One of the advantages provided by IP cameras is that images can be transferred to an IP network (local or remote) without using specific gateways.

The power supply to supervisors is determined by their specifications, as is the case with cameras and DVR/NVRs.
Devices and their use
The following devices can be used to create a CCTV installation integrated with the By-me system:
• 10" IP multimedia video touch screen (21553.1) for local supervision and control provided by an advanced and intuitive touch screen graphic interface; or remote control, by way of web server 01945, or personal computer, smartphone and tablet with internet browser, or iPhone and iPod with By-web application.
With the "Cameras" application already installed in the device, the live feeds from analog (with 69AM video selector) or IP cameras can be viewed in sequence.
In addition, the optional software tool "DVR Controller" will allow the management of Elvox DVRs and NVRs (view recordings, search images, position PTZ cameras).
• 4,3" Full Flat colour video touch screen (21554) for the supervision of analogue cameras connected to the Due Fili Plus circuit of the video door entry circuit (allows sequencing of analogue cameras).

The 2 module camera incorporates a microphone for ambient listening. Can be connected to a DVR for recording (video/ video+audio), or to an IP video encoder for live viewing over the data network.
• Indoor and outdoor video cameras (refer to the Elvox CCTV catalogue) for surveillance of areas inside and outside the building; these are available with analogue, IP or HD-SDI technology to meet different installation requirements and allow integration with By-me supervisors, according to their respective capabilities.
• DVR/NVR (refer to the Elvox CCTV catalogue), for recording the video streams of cameras connected to the device, which will analyze the images to detect motion, and interface with By- me supervisors via the IP network. Live viewing with 21553.1 and "DVR Controller" app. control.
• Flush mounting monitor (19558) able to display transmitted images and interface audio functionality for ambient listening.
• Power supplies rated 24 and 12 Vdc (refer to the Elvox catalogue) specified for the respective cameras.

Integration with By-me burglar alarm system Interfacing the CCTV system with the By-me burglar alarm system, it becomes possible:
• to record an alert from the CCTV system (a motion event captured by a camera, for example) connected to the By-me system by way of a digital output, generating an alarm specific to the associated zone;
• to activate the camera recording of an event detected by the By-me burglar alarm system;
• to pilot the preprogrammed positioning of a pan-tilt camera trained on the alarm zone (connecting it to the input of the DVR).
Exploiting alarm inputs and outputs provided on DVR/NVR devices and the relative accessories, basic integrations with sensors and alarm functions of the By-me burglar alarm system are made possible:
• following a CCTV alarm alert (e.g. "motion detection", cable
disconnected, etc.), or the closure of a voltage-free contact (01820, 01821, 01822, 01823, 01825, 01826, 01832...,
01737, 01738, 01744) connected to the contact interface
(20490.1, 19490.1, 16940.1, 14490.1), the DVR/NVR
activates a burglar alarm zone and sends a message to mobile devices via the web server;
• the DVR/NVR detects the status of the burglar alarm output following the closure of a voltage-free contact and generates an alarm via the CCTV system, which can:
a. send a snapshot taken via the relative camera (the transmission of an e-mail to a selected address can be programmed);
b.r etrieve the preset position of a pan-tilt camera so that it can be trained on the area of interest (where the alarm was tripped);
c. enable recording of the associated channel.
In the event of an open window being detected, it becomes possible to activate a camera of the CCTV system connected to the DVR, and start recording images.
It may happen, for example, that:
• the contacts interface connected to the By-me burglar alarm Bus detects that a window contact is open;
• the signal passes along the Bus, alarm status is activated and the relay operated actuator pilots the DVR to begin recording the camera feed;
• the DVR records a snapshot taken by the camera and sends it to a selected e-mail address.
There is also the option of creating an "Away" scenario whereby the DVR starts to record when a voltage-free contact is closed; on returning home subsequently, the contact opens and recording is suspended.

When this module is integrated suitably with colour monitor 21550, 20550 or 14550, the screen can serve as a monitoring system for closed circuit television cameras (CCTV). The CCTV module, for practical purposes, is an audio-video interface that enables a user to view the video signal coming from an indoor and/or outdoor video camera and to listen to the audio signal from a microphone if available. The device is provided with 9 terminals for connections to the system (power supply, cameras, audio inputs, etc.).
Operation
The CCTV module allows the creation of a simple and flexible video surveillance and ambient listening system able to meet the various installation requirements typical of residential buildings and properties.

Electronic thermostat
Integrated into the By-me home automation system, the elec- tronic thermostat provides temperature control in 2 or 4 pipe systems (heating/air conditioning) and neutral zone (4 pipe sys- tems only), with "boost" function for activating a second source so that the desired level of thermal comfort can be established more quickly. The thermostat has an RGB backlit display and 6 capacitive buttons for controlling the temperature set point, the speed of the fan coil unit and the configuration of the thermostat operating mode; the colour of the display is adjusted from the control unit (21509) or using the EasyTool Professional software application. The thermostat is a universal 2-module device for the Eikon, Arkè and Plana series.
Main functions:
• temperature control algorithms: ON/OFF or PID, selectable via user interface:
- the ON/OFF algorithm is the type of control whereby, when- ever the temperature setting plus a threshold value is exceed- ed (contrariwise for air conditioning), the heating is switched off, and will switch on again when the room temperature falls below the selected setting;
- proportional-integral-derivative control, or PID, is an advanced algorithm able to maintain a more stable room temperature, which operates by switching the system on and off when appropriate in such a way as to determine a gradual rise or fall in heating (or cooling) output from the system; ideal for underfloor systems, the algorithm must be suitably calibrated according to the nature of the surroundings and the characteristics of the system;
• the colour scheme of the RGB display can be:
- fixed, with user-selectable colour;
- coordinated with the backlighting of the residential series; or alternatively, with the "Ecometer" function, it can intuitively reflect the level of power usage by the system compared to the standard value (see note on page alongside);
• the "boost" function allows preferred climate conditions to be established more quickly when using a second source (e.g. fan coil), and only in the event of the difference between measured and set point temperatures being greater than a selectable threshold.

Thermostat
Integrated with the By-me home automation system for the management of temperature control and energy usage, the device is designed to maintain a selected room temperature (heating and air conditioning). Can be subordinated to the control unit in "timer-thermostat" mode or used to manage a selected zone independently in "thermostat" mode.

The weather station can be integrated with the By-me home automation system for managing temperature control, energy usage and automated functions. The weather station measures quantities such as temperature, wind speed, rainfall and bright- ness, of which the values can be used for:
- viewing on supervisors;
- activating automated functions in the home automation sys- tem, when threshold values are exceeded.
Main functions:
• Brightness detection: this function can be used to control outside lights, which are switched on at dusk and switched off at dawn.
• Wind measurement: the strength of the wind is measured electronically, ensuring noiseless and reliable operation even in adverse weather conditions with hail, snow and sub-zero temperatures. The weather station is also able to detect whirlwinds and updraughts. The advantage of this function is that awnings can be rolled up automatically when exposed to strong wind or precipitation.
• Rain sensor: the weather station is equipped with a sensor that has a heated surface, so that only raindrops and snow- flakes (and therefore not fog or dew) are identified as pre- cipitation. The sensor will also deactivate automatic watering systems during rainfall. Once it has stopped raining or snow- ing, the sensor dries quickly and the precipitation message is turned off.

The device prevents the switch in the electricity meter from tripping due to overload; suitable for both single-phase and three-phase systems. Current flowing in the monitored power line is measured with a current sensor (01457, 01458); the module will monitor up to 3 power lines independently. THE module is also designed to monitor systems capable of gen- erating energy (e.g. photovoltaic). If the power cable is not readily accessible, the measurement can be made remotely, using the energy 01450 connected to the By-me bus. It saves the energy values logged from each line in an archive.

The device cannot control the load directly. Used as a double or single button, depending on the particular tabs fitted. The buttons are configurable independently of the SLAVE dimmer control circuit and can be operated by pressing both the top half and the bottom half of the tab.
Important.
Lamps or electronic power supply units controllable from a sin- gle device must belong to the same type. It is not possible to control simultaneously with the same device the white LEDs and the RGB LEDs.

Abso- lutely no buzz. Device directs a synchronization signal to SLAVE dimmers (maximum 3) and can control the load directly. Used as three single button or one single and one double button switch, de- pending on the particular tabs fitted. The buttons are also configur- able independently of the pilot SLAVE dimmer pilot section. Buttons can be operated by pressing both the top half and the bottom half of the tab.
Important. Lamps controllable from a single MASTER or SLAVEd- immer must all be identical. All controlled loads must be declared dimmable by the manufacturer. Check the dimmer compatibility indicated on the lamp packaging: LE (Leading Edge) or TE (Trailing Edge). If there is no indication, the lamp can operate in either mode (selected at the discretion of the installer).

• compatible with updatable By-me control units (21509, 01960);
• not compatible with 2-module flush mounting By-me control units (20510, 16950, 14510).
Note. Maximum length of cables connecting universal MASTER dimmer and universal SLAVE dimmer: 100 m. Connect at least the minimum load required to the universal MASTER dimmer. MASTER and SLAVE dimmers must be configured in the same operating mode.
